Peopleplus opens Chennai branch

Recognizing the tremendous potential Chennai holds for us, we had been planning for the Chennai branch from the last quarter 2007. It was important to identify a good leader to lead the branch, and a good location for setting up the office. We have been successful on both counts. We are proud to have a tastefully designed office in Guindy, close to a couple of software technology parks, and the new Hilton Hotel, currently under construction. A focused team of five, including a dynamic Branch Manager, makes the initial core team, which we hope will be grow exponentially, as will our organization in Chennai.

Branches in Kochi and Pune

We have initiated steps for set up of branches in Kochi and Pune. Hopefully the Kochi branch will be operational by end of quarter 02, 2008, and Pune should be on stream by 03 quarter 2008. We hope to end 2008 with another branch in New Delhi.

Peopleplus inaugurates its Own Dedicated Facility

Peopleplus inaugurated its own dedicated facility on Bannerghatta Main Road. The tapering architecturally designed three storey building, is just off the Highway, three kilometers from IIM, Bangalore. The new premises, with its fine external of glass and bond, commands a spanking new reception area, meeting rooms, a large conference room, and an entire floor which we propose to transform into a high quality training hall for internal and external training facilitation. The new building will enable the Company to meet the growing requirements of our clients and candidates. Pictures of the new building and inauguration are available in the photo gallery.

Peopleplus obtains TM

November 2006

There has been some concern from start ups using the name and market goodwill of Peopleplus to start recruitment activities. Acting on the advice of our legal advisors, Peopleplus has obtained a TM (Temporary Mark) which gives the Company, the exclusive right to use the name of Peopleplus for Recruitments and HR Solutions in India. This effectively prevents pretenders from exploiting the goodwill of Peopleplus and enable the Company to take legal recourse in case the name Peopleplus is used by others.

Peopleplus starts non-IT Division

Having emerged as one of the top IT HR Service Providers, working with the best international companies, and acknowledging growing requests for Recruitment support from non-IT companies, Peopleplus has formally commenced a non-IT divison. The Company has already been doing a wide range of non-IT positions, especially at senior levels, for our IT Clients. The formal set up of the non-IT division will enable us to provide optimum support to non-IT client companies.
